Presidents Message:

Where has the temperature gone!  We all complain about the summer heat but when it gets this time of year we miss the warmth of summer. This has been the most colorful fall I have seen in many years. As I drive around and look at all the leaves falling it makes me sad knowing that the winter is fast approaching.

I hope all of you got the chance to get that senior done that wanted the fall colors

Thanksgiving will be here soon followed by Christmas. Speaking of Christmas the BOD has chosen to sponsor a family from the Don Bosco Center.  We are going to ask for donations at the November meeting.  They have a social worker that will help us select the neediest family.  We need to get in the spirit of helping others early this season.

As I look at the November meeting I am excited about our speaker Nick Vedros.  He is a wonderful Commercial Photographer, when I look at his work he has a vision.  I am sure that in commercial it takes a lot of thought and imagination to come up with a final output that the customer wants.

Print competition is getting here faster than you think.  Many of you just need a few merits to complete that journey.  We have many people that are willing to help with your images.  Bring your images and get with any of our masters, they are willing to help you look at your images in a different way.
